Bah weep gragnah weep nini bong!

Inspired beyond words by the teenage website Rookie and the wonderful, creative, and stylish Marlena, I’ve decided to become an active part of the blogosphere. This summer I discovered, through many hours on the inter-tubes, that awesome blogs exist. Awesome blogs made by awesome people! Bored to death by boring people at school wearing boring trendy things, yet having little drive or purpose, I was consumed completely by my love for Goodwill, old-lady hats, and a good feminist blog. Also blindingly colorful makeup, but I have yet to even wear eyeshadow in my life, let alone paint bright green stripes on my face.

(Can you tell I also write fiction? I can’t help myself- I always sound like I’m trying too hard to win a novel award.)

Above all else, I CRAFT. Endlessly and compulsively. I’m hoping to record my DIY misadventures here, where hopefully someone can get inspiration or a spare hour of fun out of it, as I do from so many other blogs. Also, whatever else comes to mind will get stuck on here, like my clothes, music, and journaling.

I was going to draw an introductory picture of myself since the good camera isn’t working right now, but then I changed my mind and used the paper as a scrap-paper, but then I changed my mind again. So here’s a shitty picture I drew in sharpie that’s now covered in oil paint and paper scraps:

That's actually a pretty good representation of myself.

Let’s hope that, for once, I keep with something for any length of time.
